fORMaTiNG YOuR TeXt I havent been having too much fun gettin my text written in RB the way i am used to.. formatting that is.. ive had my text cancelled out like this when i put the ”-” symbol between letters – i try and remember not to do that again. Only just now i found another one.. So i thought to self, that i’d better write all these down here in the journal – for future reference : NEW PARAGRAPHS / Press ENTER twice and that will give you a new paragraph automatically. WHEN ON EACH END OF WORD/TEXT : / eg: * bold * (without spaces) symbol * = bolds / / symbol _ = italic symbol ^ = small upper / / symbol – = cancels you out! symbol ~ = makes text smaller / / symbol + = Underlines the text symbol * * * = makes a horizontal rule/line without the spaces / -found by KSERIPHYN_ TO MAKE TEXT CLICKABLE (INTO URL) Put quotation symbols ” ” on each side of the word/sentence you want to make into Links/Clickable and then a COLON (no spaces) straight after, plus the url ; http:// EXAMPLE (i’ve added spaces in between the symbols so that you can see the text – but NO SPACES ” This tip was found whilst reading PDUV’s journal ” : http://www.redbubble.com/people/pduv/journal/show/4812 becomes : This tip was found whilst reading PDUV’s journal TO ADD GRAPHICS INTO YOUR JOURNAL / PLEASE DON’T PUT HUGE PIX, RESIZE/UTILIZE PLACES LIKE IMAGESHACK free image hosting EXAMPLE : (i’ve added spaces in between the symbols so that you can see the text – but NO SPACES) ! http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/6817/formatingrbct6.gif ! becomes TIP : You can do save that gif cheat sheet if you want ;) ADDING GRAPHIC & MAKING IT CLICKABLE (LINKED) / for larger pics you want to show, its a good idea to post the Thumbnail size, / and making the graphic clickable to a larger size. I was looking around other sites and I came across several redbubble images, mine included. I have not figured out the site yet but it looks like a place to play around with images and in some cases using the images to advertise the product they are selling, I think that is against the law…....not sure.The people using the images have a redbubble link with our username attached but I think it serves as more traffic to steal images…..not to increase chances of sales.I have contacted the company and told them that this is not a stock photograph company but the individuals are held responsible for the images they acquire. I copied some of the images they made with our images and I got a pretty decent result. If you go to polyvore and “TRY” the site, go to the search engine and type redbubble, you will find 7 pages of our images.There is no watermark on them,so they must have cropped them off.I wish there was a way to have a huge watermark displayed across the images only when someone tries to copy or print them. Yes I know what you’re all thinking…It’s ANOTHER PET DOG!!!!! Don’t panic you arty farty types…it’s only up for a limited time whilst I make some cards for a friends present. Then it will be strictly back to black polo necks and matching berets. Ciao baby. Postscript (Wow I literally just uplaoded this to make cards for a friends birthday. I had no idea people would comment on it! I feel compelled to point out – as those who know me understand – my humour is very dry and ironic. Don’t take anything I say seriously! The last things I painted in 2007. / / Watercolour, chalk pastel, ink pen and silver leaf. I got this paint flicker thing a few months back and have been splattering test canvases, this is the first time I’ve used it in a finished piece. Fun fun! / / This one I’ve called ‘found’, though that’s not necessarily what’s happening. / Each of these creatures could be considered ‘mistrustful’ perhaps. How did they come to have a shiny crown? Did they find them? Steal them? Maybe the crowns always belonged to them. / / These are actually 3 separate canvases, making up a set. I’ve combined them into one image for RB. / / / / / / / / This one shows the shiny silver crown… / /

Took a different approach for the photoshpcreative07 competition and decided to reverse the concept. Here a lone survivor condemned to a future of infinite chaos manages to escape back into a alternate past of infinite possibility. This could be a physical escape or projected from within the travellers mind; an internal escape to fantasy, much like the ending of Brazil. Have since sold the image for use on the cover of the Griffith Review – yay.

This painting was created with interior house paint on canvas / H26” x W50” / Black Matte Gallery Frame / 2007 / 1800.00 “Faceless,” is dedicated to all the woman and girls who suffer injustices all over the world, and remain faceless to world. Although I created this image in 2007, and had titled it “Girls,” I didn’t fully realize what it meant until just this week. In the news, a husband kills his wife, by placing a plastic bag over her head, hangs her, and flees with the three children after countless please for help to local authorities. A father is convicted of keeping his daughter locked up as a sex slave for 24 years. Daughter now 42. Many females are enslaved, murdered, raped, tortured all over the world, and many more will remain faceless to us. Stop, think, and listen.
