Bluebell bulbs developing on flowering stem. / I have added a TTV of an old Swiss Roll Baking Tray, as I wanted to create an aged appearance to the image!?
I don’t know why I didn’t add this before. Created last year with a life-drawing, and several photographs – one of dandelions in ice and several dried tulip images (which I have faded in places to try and incorporate them in the ice!). Words – I always find them so difficult – so please excuse that they don’t rhyme, scan or anything else. These were my original words with the image. Please feel free to add your own. Last night I dreamed Ice / covered my soul / Flowers blossomed near me / ......through me / Moss tickled at my fingers / Water, like tendrils / snaked close / ......touched me / I dreamed rain lashed my skin / carried me away / And, many souls (...?angels) / ......transport me Hm – there you go – needs some thought to try and improve these words!
Just playing with p/s. / This was one of the very first embroideries I did – way back in the distant past. / Anyway, I have duplicated in layers. / Hit Multiply on both layers – and reduced opacity in both layers. / Hit Find Edges on one copy. / Overlaid with a photograph of a sky – reduced the opacity. / Squashed it all down into a jpg. / As I say – just playing!!
