Formally a nursery deep in the Otways the Dando familly presented the land for public use. / Parks Victoria and 4wd clubs have provided a great bush camping camping facility, complete with fire pits. / The Silver Birch trees here form a lush green avenue of honour in this bush setting
the balcony of a friend’s house on Forresters beach, mid NSW. Big wind tortured gnarly tea trees in the foreground against the aqua water and the day we were there loads of huge tankers on the horizon waiting to get into Newcastle Harbour. They’d been out there for weeks due to some industrial problems. / I’ve deliberately kept this as simple as possible and used hues of browns i don’‘t usually use. I love the serenity and calmness of this painting. It’s big, 168×102cms. / Mixed media, collage and the tassling on chairs all stitched thru canvas. The sea glass is tied with string and glued onto the big poles, hanging on a rusted nail on each one.

I was out shooting some sunrise shots when this big storm came up the coast. took this photo about 5 minutes before the rain started and I had to leg it up the beach to the car park.

Nestled away in the Otways between Triplet falls and Eyre crossing is this wonderful little creek. Across it is a small wooden bridge with out any side rails. Access down to the creek can be slippery but I think well worth the effort. / Canon 30d 17-85mm lens. / Great Otway national park. / Shot in av mode at f8 and a focal length of 17mm
i call this… the path to inner harmony.. walking on the sand is like walking on air… the greens surrounding me… the scents of spring… the calmness.. the quiet.. it brings peace and harmony to me… taken on the sandtrack between the villages of jászszentlászló and kömpöc, comitatus bacs-kiskun, southern hungary, on the way to our new tanya (tanya = hungarian word for homestead, farm)
