Sun light skims tall magestic tree trunks and highlights green leaves on Bridge Track deep in the rain forest of the Otway Ranges. / Not far from here is a bush camp know as Dandos, one of the most delightful places to camp by the river…but not a holiday time, it’s getting too popular!. / Not long after this shot was taken heavy Otway rains and flood picked up the bridge and moved it sidways 1 meter closing the track for some months, it has now been fixed into that new position. / Taken with Fuji S2 Pro
A eucalyptus tree at the bottom of a granite boulder at John Forrest national Park. Slide sandwich to get the effect (not done in Photoshop!).

I captured this on our exit from Venus Bay, Gippsland after shooting the sunrise. The rays appeared once our HiLux sturred up the dust.
This picture, taken in Glen Nevis Scotland is a depiction of sudden clarity, when everything around may be chaotic. The way the sun has chosen to light through these trees begs the question “is this on purpose, or just a beautiful accident”. I have recently corrected the contrast of this picture and have to say its much improved. If anyone saved the original I would welcome your comments on this.

MUCH BETTER VIEWED LARGER This is a old shot reworked , with more experience and newer technology. It is reminiscent of the area around the town of Marysville in the Yarra Ranges National Park. In february this year on a Saturday that will forever be called Black Saturday this area and many areas of Victoria were destroyed in devastating bushfires that wiped homes, towns and many lives from the map. This shot is dedicated to those who perished in those bushfires, and those who fought these fires And one day this bush will regenerate and hopefully be the same again Equipment Nikon D70, Nikon 18-200mmm lems / Technique:HDR 5 Exposures, tonemapped in Photomatix 3.2
As always, this image started out as something completely different but because my computer is from the ark and I constantly get ‘windows has encountered an error’..blah, blah I ended up with this! There were so many more elements I wanted to add but my patience got the better of me and I decided to call it quits before I lost everything again. I think this has got something to do with Autumn but I lost the plot! / Hope you like it regardless…
