  • A self developed Holga shot / A broom / A mannequin minus a nose I fail to see what else I could have done to improve this.

  • Vespa scooter parked outside a house segment somewhere in the South Dublin neighbourhood of Rathmines.

  • Shot of Castle Rock through the trees in Red Rock State Park, Sedona, Arizona. Canon 20D & 28-135 IS USM.

  • I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

  • corner of mission and 2nd street, san francisco, holga madness. / kodak tri-x turns out this is just up the road from the new RB office, but I didn’t know that when I took it. (having only been to the US thrice i still find steam rising from the vents in the street most evocative, the locals probably find it annoying)

  • just shy of 6 years worth… / (By the way I do not actually have giant hobbit feet, that’s just from the tilt of the camera) / 100% digital free as always.

  • Model – Millie Claire / MUA – Cloe Bunter of Makeup by Cloe Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / I won’t show the digital versions, seems to have caused a little friction on dA ;) Needless to say if you’re familiar with the original Snow White text, you might just know what this is about :D Melbourne’s Parklands have very photogenic footpaths. I believe this was shot in the Queen Vic Park… I dunno, it was hot and there were a LOT of parks. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • It was an old mirror, and silvered, and very tired. It was determined to cast no more reflections.

  • This is one of the images that I submitted for one of my projects at university.

  • Fine art photography print taken with a Holga camera on black and white film. Taken on a brief visit to Chicago in December 2006

  • Another image taken on a Hasselblad and another image for my developing ‘Childhood Narratives’ portfolio.

  • more work from the hasselblad :)

  • I remember one of the loneliest times for me at school was when it was playtime. Looking around to see who and if you could play with someone. I think though it made me learn to like my own company .. I am still very much happy to be in my own world.

  • Another one for my series on school. And more work drawn from my relationship with school.

  • Another study from Air, Water, Rock series This time taken at Crescent Head, one of the best places for coastal photography, there are so many different rock formations. I really like light and contrast here. It was taken late morning when the sun was up high, so it was very bright and the number of filters was used to slow down the exposure and to get the balance between the very bright areas and the shade. I hope it works. Thank you for looking, Please view large! • Sorry to upload another from my memory series. I am afraid over the next few days I shall be adding more as from next week I shall have little time to participate on redbubble as my course starts again. I am doing a course on alternative printing so hopefully will have something to upload. I apologise to for not being able to comment as much as I would like. I wasn’t going to say much about this image but I thought I would just paste in the reply I gave to Matt’s comment about it: A couple of weeks ago I went to my daughters school for a meeting – at the same time she had come out for playtime – I was watching her and witnessed a group of girls that kept running away from her – leaving her standing alone – in the end she stood there crying. I left the office and went outside to pick her up and comfort her – it was only then that the teacher noticed. When I was looking through my negs this afternoon I saw this one and it made me think of it .. There is an anti-bullying day at her school on friday .. they all have to wear blue .. i hope things improve but it does seem, sadly that the playground hasn’t changed that much. So yes, this is exactly what I was aiming for.
