Solitary Lonely forlorn, leaning, reaching, yearning, wishing….but still beautiful. Thank you all for your support. This image is very dear to me…and I appreciate it so very much.
This bluebird with head bent downward seems a nice image for a get well card or a card just to perk someone up who’s feeling down. The Eastern bluebird is one of my favorite songbirds. The males are not as shy as the females and this one really posed for me during the past nesting season.

The ring is on my hand, And the wreath is on my brow; / Satin and jewels grand Are all at my command, / And I am happy now. And my lord he loves me well; But, when first he breathed his vow, / I felt my bosom swell- For the words rang as a knell, / And the voice seemed his who fell In the battle down the dell, / And who is happy now. But he spoke to re-assure me, And he kissed my pallid brow, / While a reverie came o’er me, And to the church-yard bore me, / And I sighed to him before me, Thinking him dead D’Elormie, / “Oh, I am happy now!” And thus the words were spoken, And this the plighted vow, / And, though my faith be broken, And, though my heart be broken, / Here is a ring, as token / That I am happy now! Would God I could awaken! For I dream I know not how! / And my soul is sorely shaken Lest an evil step be taken,- / Lest the dead who is forsaken / May not be happy now. ... This is a bubble car from the California Zephyr. I came across this car sitting on a bare side rail. It looks lost and forlorn. Processed as a HDR it would make a beautiful card or picture to hang on any wall. Photographer / Robert Berry

Time heals all wounds. Time flies when you’re having fun. Time stands still. Time waits for no one. If I could turn back the hands of Time. Frozen in Time. Timeless…. you get the idea. Well, I wanted to create a series that perhaps captured the essence of these things, in relation to human emotion. And so my Time series was born. I know in my heart what each of them means, but I did not name them anything specific, so that the viewer could make up their own mind as to the meaning of each piece. I think that is something unique to every individual. So…my heartfelt thanks for continuing to watch and support my artistic endeavors. It feeds the fire that burns and inspires. / Aimee
During my travels I always seem to find some old iron. This one sits covered with snow and forlorn. Left to the elements it seems in pretty good shape. All it needs is some tender loving care… Processed as a HDR it would make a beautiful card or picture to hang on any wall. Best viewed at full size! Forlorn Gaze Brisbane Emo Scene Sensation: Forlorn Gaze. Shot on location whilst they were filming their new TV Pilot. / I encourage everyone to take a look at their myspace. (They are a parody group!) I don’t normally do ‘Band’ or ‘Music’ photography, but these guys were fierce posers!
this lonely tree on the hill has captivated and fascinated me for some time now … on this particular day I happened to be at the right place at the right time (with camera! ) ... I loved the silhouettes and couldn’t resist a few shots :) I’m delighted and honoured at the feature in German Artists in May 2009 … thank you kindly!! :) Canon EOS 450D 18-55mm kit lens
Pera. Six – from a series I created with light, texture and of course . . .’The Classic Pear’.
Forlorn was created with Photoshop CS3, I took the picture of the cemetery last summer 2008 in my hometown in England, and the addition of the model is by kind permission of Faestock Thank you for looking..
Another cute mannequin that caught my eye in Southern California. I imagined her to be ‘at a rock and a hard place’ in her department store LIFE. ;) She is ready to leave her window designer man for the hunk at Bloomingdales.
Created in PSCS…... / Background…my image…Nikon D90 / model faestock / male shd-stock I dreamed a dream…Les Miserables There was a time when men were kind, / And their voices were soft, / And their words inviting. / There was a time when love was blind, / And the world was a song, / And the song was exciting. / There was a time when it all went wrong… I dreamed a dream in time gone by, / When hope was high and life, worth living. / I dreamed that love would never die, / I dreamed that God would be forgiving. / Then I was young and unafraid, / And dreams were made and used and wasted. / There was no ransom to be paid, / No song unsung, no wine, untasted. But the tigers come at night, / With their voices soft as thunder, / As they tear your hope apart, / And they turn your dream to shame. / He slept a summer by my side, / He filled my days with endless wonder… / He took my childhood in his stride, / But he was gone when autumn came! And still I dream he’ll come to me, / That we will live the years together, / But there are dreams that cannot be, / And there are storms we cannot weather! / I had a dream my life would be / So different from this hell I’m living, / So different now from what it seemed… / Now life has killed the dream I dreamed…

I passed this sad-looking building on the Geelong-Ballan Road yesterday. A thoroughly miserable day – cold, wet, grey – and this dwelling looked so forlorn sitting there against the colourless sky. / Texture layers added. / Nikon D300 with 18 – 200mm lens.

I was in Downtown San Diego and there was some graffiti on this utility box. I focused on the face that I saw….when I came across the image I did some selective color and tidbit editing to create this one. :)
