Made in Ultra Fractal 5. FULL VIEW IS A MUST ON THIS ONE. There are so many details and color gradations that can’t be seen in the smaller image. I am so far behind on answering my messages, but I dearly appreciate all your kind comments. I will try to answer them as soon as I can. Thanks so much for looking at my work!

Despite my recent busy spurt, I decided to create a new Forgotten Postcard. This one was inspired by the Jurancon wine vineyards of Monein, in the Béarn region of southwest France.
An old Holden tucked away in a fallen down shed in the back blocks of Tassie in the township of Fingal.

A fossil that lies in the ground for years is found by two youths in a vacant field. What kind of creature was this? Why aren’t they around now. The story unfolds thusly… / 5.5×9.5 inches, black ink on lined paper.
I thought this might make a nice b&w
The Lua or Lawa are the aboriginal peoples of northern Thailand, and have probably descended from the original stone-age settlers who arrived more than 20,000 years ago. They have been largely assimilated and now only a handful of villages exist where Lua traditions, culture and language survive. This old woman has seen more changes in her life than hundreds of generations of her ancestors. She wears her once white, hand spun, hand woven smock, silver bangles, necklaces and earrings and has smoked a pipe since she was a child.

I must admit it, I am obsessed with this place, an abandoned farmhouse, deep in Amish farm country. I can’t stop thinking about the generations of family members who knew this as their family home. I have photographed this subject in every season, but I am still trying to capture this scene in a “perfect” shot. I plan to create a definitive set of pictures of this mysterious place, as it looks in all seasons. This is the June image. More to follow… This photo was just taken with a Canon EOS 10D camera body using a Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L zoom lens set to 70mm. The shutter speed was 1/20th sec. at f/22. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release cable. A closer view of the house Your comments are always welcome!
