  • I ate them all is all about privious relationships that did not work out, but some are sad and some are happy, but life goes on and you just have to pick up the pieces and move on, forgive and forget. Or els you will never meet the love of your life, it is like cleaning house, as soon as you through something out something new will come in to your life. / /

  • The full title of this picture is ‘Hate Delirium [ Never Forgive, Never Forget]’ and goes with my other picture, Love Delirium. Whereas Love Delirium is in a happy relationship, Hate Delirium isn’t – she is being torn apart and ripped by her feelings which were binding her. She is full of revenge due to her partner stabbing her with all his lies, and from cupid shooting his arrow at first and making her fall from him. The heart which is badly ripped apart and shattered shows how it has been damaged so much thats its too late and now she can’t use it at all… she is too hurt that all she wants is to get her own back. —-—-—-—-—-——- Thank You For Viewing / Original By Emma Black / Do Not Use Without Permission

  • Not so much a dream as it was a vision that popped into my head today. / Thanks for looking. / I wish that you could see this larger. / I’m not so sure that you can get the jist of the story from your point of view. If you like this and decide to comment would you please tell me why you like it. I’m trying to get a feel for what it is that I’m doing right. LOL!

  • Open the Door and Let Her In…... The woman watches / As the broken man begins to dance, / Could it be that in her presence / He is falling apart, / Or that the warmth of her gaze, / Finds him gradually becoming whole again. / His freedom, her absolution. The words fall useless on the ground, / Letters spilling into the dirt / Meaning discarded, / A blank page lays crumpled before her / Staring without judgment / At her trembling hand. / Reason is beyond reproach. Time tiptoes past unnoticed / On its way to someone else’s story / Hope follows regardless / And the sun rises and sets / On useless thoughts unguarded. / Who dares to walk this path? / Yet who dares to not. / / The woman listens / As the silent man begins to sing / The words dust themselves off / And join the fragile notes / In a private dance of healing / Truth’s melody cuts through time / And lays memory bare, Forgive me, it sings / I am only human. Thank you from the heart to Linaji / for her nomination of myself and this artwork, to the amazing Pay It Forward Group. I am deeply honoured to have my work included in this prestigious circle of creative souls, so thank you to the group hosts and especially to dear Linaji for her nomination and the following beautiful words that went with it….. / / “Wendy Slee has my vote for her image Forgiveness and her poem of the same name. Wendy and this image came to me at a perfect time in my life when I was at the point of allowing total forgiveness towards my father. Since that moment when I viewed her stunning work I have enjoyed a relationship with this amazing Soul. She is a leader here on the bubble and is fearless where her heart burns bright. Her exceptional work in Wildlife Appeal and her perfect timing in my life as friend and Co-Creator makes it easy for me to nominate Wendy and her work Forgiveness here at Play It Forward. Congrats you sweet heART!! You Deserve So Much!!”

  • Linaji wrote this great poem for this Art work , Thank you very much Lina you did it again . / please visit Linaji for more of her work. With love, I Forgive / Your love / And your lies / Balled up like wax / Dripping down the side of my fingers / Burning / Pain, / Heat / Tears / Dissolving a fragile string of kindness which has / Muddled and hardened with time Story after story goes thru my mind, / Till I am spent and drained at my own efficient ability / To fill in scenes I only think you might have played / A part in. / Uncovering again and again the deceit and the pain / That one morning you did bring. Long before I swore.. / Never again. / But the rabid dogs of Goodbye / I did unleash / Ready for your remains / To become festered with my own / Pain / My own despair. My eyes steel cold and grey / Pools of ice and determined / Chill. / That morning / When you lead me down the / Corridor of your will. Words diminished to / Graffiti sighs / And lovers’ cries. And now I am faced with / Time that has passed and the / Decorum of modern man / Spiritual leanings / And friends that remind me / I have a place in their hearts too. / Was Love all about you? The ending is near for all this / That was. / For all this that was. And now, / I paint and I create and I feel and I close / My eyes / A figure of light appears, / Dressed in royal colors / Dressed in abstract designs from a place beyond this one. / He takes my heart from my chest / And squeezes it hard / And like the wax of your love and your lies / It drips down the side of his fingers. / His lips are full and his smile is large. / He licks my blood and gives me the same. I only taste what I feel is Eternity and Peace. / And then, / He puts it back tenderly and instantly, / He is gone. / I am left with a thought that I repeat and use as my / Mantra, / My beacon back to Hope and Life. ‘With Love, I forgive’.

  • I was so moved while making this piece that I began to cry as my heart and mind thought of everything that He went through and still pressed on just for you and me.

  • At first glance a young man concluded this painting was about a mother forgiving her young prodigal daughter. I didn’t correct him. This painting shows an older woman embracing her younger self and offering forgiveness for past mistakes and failings. The young self kneels before the older woman and asks for nothing other than a place to lay her head. The older woman who has grown physically and spiritually knows the younger self was caught up in the spring of youth and needs what we all need, a place to rest our transgressions. In the lap of experience the young one is allowed to rest. I look at this painting with high hopes of self forgiveness. / If you would like to see a few close up details of this painting please visit the following link: / http://www.sundrip.com/2008/08/18/forgiveness/ “Forgiveness” is part of the Faceless Beauty Collection on SUNDRIP.com F. • In May of 2008, my husband, Homer, traveled back to Vietnam on a journey of healing and forgiveness. During one of his two combat missions to Vietnam in the sixties, Homer killed a young North Vietnamese Medic, Hoang Ngoc Dam. This act has haunted Homer for over 35 years as the battles of war haunt all who experience it. Dam’s family, in an act of incredible generosity of spirit, invited Homer to Vietnam to meet them and personally participate in the return of Dam’s remains to his village for burial. You can read the entire story, one of heartbreak, courage, and forgiveness on Homer’s website: http://www.swampfox.info. This photograph was taken by Homer on an early morning train from Nam Dinh to Quy Nhuon. “Not to forgive is to be imprisoned by the past, by old grievances that do not permit life to proceed with new business. Not to forgive is to yield oneself to another’s control… to be locked into a sequence of act and response, of outrage and revenge, tit for tat, escalating always. The present is endlessly overwhelmed and devoured by the past. Forgiveness frees the forgiver. It extracts the forgiver from someone else’s nightmare.” – Lance Morrow

  • Forgiveness not forgotten
    by tkrosevear

I forgave you yesterday for hurtful words / today, I compromised for affection / I’ll forgive you tomorrow / and lose more faith in my belie…

Back in 1992, I wrote this quote in my journal, “Forgiveness is a courageous attempt to add steps to the ladder of the future. To forgive oneself is the doorway to heaven and the challenge of lives to come.” I cannot remember who the author was, but this quote is a part of my daily routine - / I forgive myself for what I’ve done yesterday, today and tomorrow! / In my counseling efforts the issue of forgiveness is always misconstrued, that in order to forgive you must embrace the person forgiven – this is NOT to say you need live with them, tolerate future abuse, or forget the lessons learned from this relationship. I guess that this particular belief is what sparked the inspiration for this writing at 2am this morning. / I am hopeful that someone struggling with Self-Esteem earns their presence and ability to hold themself in enough regard and strength NOT to compromise themself for Survival, Affection or Success! / Peace~ Imagine my surprise today 5/6/09, when my sweet sister DevineDay Dreams created created this beautiful artwork to accompany this poem…
