Title thanks to my husband… I was stumped and when I asked my husband for a suggestion for the title he said the daisies were natures beauty and shone amongst a gloomy winters day, which to him is the essence of winter. by KcranmerArtDear friends… Per the request of my dear friend Sarah Moore I am re-uploading a dream request I created for her and her family in the honor of her baby boy Axel. Sarah…since the day you asked me to create your dream request of your sweet Axel…was the day I felt like Axel stepped into my heart. I’ve never put so much passion into one image in my life. And to explain in more detail…it takes me some time to create a new image…but when I created this of your boy…everything came to me like 2nd nature. I really and truly feel in my heart, that a little helper was at my side when I made this. I wanted to tell you this when I first created it for you…but knew how emotional the times were…so with that…I am once again honored to share the spirit of Axel! Many of you will remember, and some of you may be new to the news of Sarah Moore’s little boy Axel. Please read below. Sad news …This is Rosalie, Sarah’s mum writing on Sarah’s behalf. / Locals may have heard already on the news of the drowning of a 15mth old in the northwest of Sydney. This is Axel, Sarah and Glen’s little son. / As you can imagine everyone is devestated. One never expects it to happen in your own family … / Please feel free to leave messages here if you feel so moved – they are rather overwhelmed with calls and all the due processes right now but do appreciate the care that their friends are offering. / Feel free to bubblemail me directly (RosalieDale) if you have any questions or any direct messages – I’ll check in a couple of times a day just to check for mail. / Thank you all … / Rosalie Sarah’s Heart Felt Thanks / I finally have a few minutes to catch my breath and thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your thoughts, prayers and incredible generosity. I wanted to do an image that symbolizes the Victorian bushfires that started on Saturday the 7th of February 2009, but I didn’t want this image to be sad (although we all know how devastating it has been), I wanted this image to be about the loss, the lives saved, how Australians came together and the growth to come. The Bird symbolizes all the lives that were saved, but this bird has no nest, so it also symbolizes all the homes that were lost and the nothingness some of these people now feel. The Birds claw clinging onto the tree branch is there to symbolize the fire fighters thoughts of hanging in there, and putting all these fires out. The Heart is there to symbolize all the heart ache and love, which us Australians have felt and will never forget. The Flower is there to symbolize all the help, support, donations and everything that us Australians have given to those affected, just to let them know that they have got support, and us Aussies are all here to help. The Music symbols are there to symbolize (all the lives lost) all the spirits flying up into the sky. The Leafs symbolize the growth to come, with rebuilding these affected communities. And I did not want an actual image of a fire in my design, so the swirls of the bird’s tail are there to symbolize the raging fire that affected so many. I ended up donating $630 for the bush fire appeal, from 2 paintings i auctioned and a couple of T’s :o)

So how do you make someone understand something that you understand? You can’t. All you can do is understand it. So your greatest gift to them is just know what you know about death, know that it is nonexistent, know that this man, this being, exists eternally, know that he can come through the cat door either way, know that he is constantly, consistently focused here, know that he has awareness about what all of you are doing, know that his interest in what you are doing has not changed at all. Know that you have the ability to interact with him. Know that he has the ability to interact with you. And make that a real experience for yourself. And then talk about it as if it is a normal experience. Let it be the normal experience that it really is. from a 4 month old fraternal twin session… honestly, I couldn’t believe we got them to BOTH sleep… I had them sitting in a large galvanized tin propped up… this was just a close up I couldn’t resist with new sony alpha a900 and my 50mm f/1.4 ;-)
