The little shelter in the middle of the woods reminds me the peaceful and yet ever so intimate life of “The Little House on the Prairie”. :)
Here is a Totem Animal the Fox set in the Forest and is the ultimate in Camouflage and his lesson he brings is to blend in so that you may see things more clearly.
She is an amazing Free spirited earthy Dancer, she danced on the sounds of drums in Harmony . —-—-—-—-—- The talented Sally Omar / got inspired by This work and wrote this Magical Poem to go with this Image , Love working together Thank you my friend. —-—-—-—-— The Dance Walking through the forest when no one is around / There is a place that gypsy dancers can be found / They are the spirits of gypsies who have already died / Their bodies were buried and in this area where they lie / Dancing is spiritual and must be done each day / The scarves they carry are in a bright array / With varying shades of white, red and blue / They are not ordinary colors they cast a different hue / I saw them swirling their scarves up in the air / They danced to the music as they chanted with great care / Their bodies in total synch as if done so many times before / I stood there for awhile and wanted to see more / Their dance was so intense and I couldn’t believe their pace / That’s when I noticed that each girl had the same face / It appeared they shared a body three girls wrapped all in one / I slowly walked away in the glistening sun / I was one of the fortunate few who had the chance / To go through this forest and see THE DANCE.

The lake of Bohinj again. Is for sure one of the most amazing natural places in my country and the one I personaly love most. The lake is typicaly glacial with a depth of 40m and the valey in the form of letter “U”. The church on the end of the lake where the river Sava bohinjka goes out from the lake is there from centuries and even before christians this was a spiritual place. There are many legends about this place, the goldenhorn mitological being who protect the nature here around is maybe the most remarkable simbol of this place. The valey is also dominated by the highest mountain in Slovenija Triglav which is also a national symbol. wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohinj This are 3 HDR images from three exposures merged together © COPYRIGHT NOTICE / The work contained in my gallery is copyrighted ©2008 Robert Pavsic. ~ Shinning Light ~ Proverbs 4:18 The path of the just is as a shinning light, that shineth more, and more unto the perfect day. Dedicated to Dee, thanks so much for all your support, and encouragement. /
Nikon D80 / F10 / 1/40th sec / ISO 200 / Nikkon 18-200 vr lens So I have always heard and read….Pro photographers never leave home without camera gear! So aspiring to better myself as a photographer I carry my gear everywhere i go. One day as I was driving to my bosses house I noticed the sun shining through the misty trees just across the street in such a way where they just seemed magic!..... In reality it was far less dramatic than the image leads you to believe. But I am happy I was able to capture it because within a few moments they were just the same ol woods across the street from my bosses house again. / BUT, If you would like to imagine that the light illuminated a hidden path that led to a fortune in gold and jewels or whatever…. thats fine too.
Fused piece with Kyoko, model, with an attempt to blend romanticism with a modern treatment….

Pre-visualization allowed me to become one with a forest of red pines and capture their vibrant living energy through this in camera creation. For me this image is the essence of becoming one with nature.
31X25 Acrylic on Canvas: Walking up through Laurel Canyon my partner and I came across this stunning light blue light streaming through the fall colors. It was shortly after sunset so maybe it was the fog creeping into the forest. We could never quite figure it out. I kept going back to her white coat for a referance point, but this is how it really looked.
“Live ye slow, live ye easy… So sayeth the sky, So echo the trees So too echoes the wind.” ~ from Hiro Nagata’s “Brevity and Riches of Life” From my collection: / Whispers of the Enchanted Forests “Lilinoe ~ a cool caressing mist, at times opaque and others rainbow-hued. Hu’ihu’i, frosty icicles exuding the spectrum of colour from leaves of red and green. I painted this the day I attended a friend’s funeral. This was one of those intuitive paintings that just happened. 11×14 watercolor on Yupo.
© C J Lewis, 2009. Digitally altered photograph of tree trunk. Fire Spirits Of The Forest Is a digital painting done on the computer using PhotoPlus 6 software. I have used the original photograph of a tree and added colour filters and the smudge tool to move that colour around to create what depicts a forest on fire showing the spirits within the forest that are present during the destruction by fire. The white lights within the fire are pure cleansing energies clearing out the dark spirits before the re-growth of the forest ready for a new beginning. To me it depicts the cleansing of life through death as pure energy is reconstructed through the birth of a new forest that comes with re-growth … much the same as life after to death, in my belief. JULY 2009 FEATURED IN Core group THIS ART IS NOT FOR SALE (apart from as a card) AS IT FORMED PART OF MY WELL ROOTED SOLO EXHIBITION AND AS SUCH ONLY ONE MATTED PRINT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH CONTACTING ME HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS. / MCN:CBA1B-6FE2F-C8672
My little angel runs carelessly through the long grass, unaware I am ready to click down on my camera. I kept the pink in this as a tribute to those that have and have had Cancer, regardless of whether you are male or female. I wanted it to appear a little darker than my others due to the fact it is a reality that we must face and from the moment we are told we have this disease suddenly everything seems darker, like a mystery waiting to be solved, a life waiting to be discovered for the first time, sometimes too late.. Having relatives who are survivors and victims I hope this serves as a beacon that there is some direction, some escape, some flight path out of this nightmare 1 in 3 succumb to every day. Experimenting with several filters and layers were used here to create this effect.. / final finish at 12:27am OLYMPUS E-300 / Focal 40 mm / F-Number F/4.5 / Exposure 1/160 sec. / ISO-100 Featured from the first day of uploading: / Angel Wings and Heaven Multiracial Beauty
