This was one of those freak photos, straight off my camera, the only thing i changed was the white balance and the original was in color!!!... i walked straight past this spot on the walking track and my friend pulled me up!!! Spider webs were every where, there was late afternoon fog that had nt lifted, sun was perfect, dead trees, it was all there!! 30 mins later when we walked past, the sun was too low and the fog had lifted and the web could hardly be seen!!! freaky…......right place…......right time…....hahahaha…

I believe we’ve all eaten from this tree, at some time or another.. / / Mixture of digital art + several actual photos. / Work time: 4 or 5 hours (using the magnetic lasso tool in CS3 on / and around every tree branch, then cleaning them up with the eraser +blur) very intricate work. Same thing with the hearts.. /

Gerroa is an idyllic village at the Kiama end of Seven Mile Beach on the south coast of New South Wales … their sunset on Tuesday (6 January 08) was aided by smoke haze from bushfires in the Morton National Forest. After a day in which temperatures reached 40 degrees celsius and beyond, there were plenty of relaxed holiday-makers still enjoying the ambience, the breeze and the spectacular skies. At this time of the year the Amanita muscaria (also known as fly agaric) grow in profusion in the pine needles of this forest in the Blue Mountains (NSW, Australia). I believe they have magic qualities if eaten (I can imagine!!) ... there must be some very happy little creatures around as a lot of the mushrooms have holes in them!
