  Tranquility Falls

  Many of you have been to Maui and visit the famous “Seven Sacred Pools” near Hana. The place is stunning, but difficult to photograph. I like to try to get a different perspective on things. I climbed up to a higher pool, and made this image using both HDR layering and stitching. It is a good seller in my gallery on Maui.

  Featured in The Woman Photographer on November 7th, 2009. A bright orange tree frog, stands out vividly against his monochrome surroundings in this selectively coloured image. This frog is a member of the species Golden Mantella, native to the rain-forests of Madagascar. Image was originally captured using a Canon Digital Rebel with an 18-55mm lens. Selective colouring done using Photoshop CS4.
