  • A little girl and her day-to-day chore of collecting sticks and wood. I presume to be used for fire wood. This scene was captured about 1km walk from the mountain town of Sapa in northern Vietnam.

  • This is the first in a series I foresee doing, to increase awareness to the plight of endangered and threatened animals from around the globe. This First Edition focuses on three of the largest and most endangered carnivores today, the Sumatran tiger, the Amur leopard, and the Snow leopard. These are by no means the only imperiled wild cats, as the majority of wild cat species smaller in average body size than 30 kg are at a critical stage. / / / Because without these animals I would never be able to bring their beauty to you, I am going to pledge to donate 100% of all of my sales proceeds from cards and prints of the imagery in this series here on Redbubble to Wildlife Conservation Society Thank you for your support in the race to stave off the extinction of these magnificent creatures.

  • *WILD AND FREE * / / To spend an hour with Mountain Gorillas is one of the best wildlife experiences you can ever hope for. They captivate you with their eyes and you become lost in the moment. Your time with them goes so fast you are left just wanting more… / / / Unfortunately, Mountain Gorilla numbers are small, with only approximately 700 left in the wild. The primary threat comes from forest clearance and degradation, as the region’s growing human population struggles to eke out a living. / / I am hopeful ways can be found to control these problems before it is too late. / / (Virunga volcanoes – Rwanda) / >< / / / / / / / / /

  • The descend from the mount Elit was quite an experience. Only later our guide told us how many accidents happened on this track. We made 1000 meters down in 2 hours, while not moving more than perhaps 100 meters forward. The kind of a pile of sticks on the bottom of the picture is a prototype Papuan ladder. It was semi-helical, extremely slippery and missed lots of steps. I took the photo while waiting for my friends to get completely down, didn’t want to fall on their heads with the whole wobbly contraption. Irian Jaya (Indonesian Papua), Jayawijaya mountains – still some 3500 m.o.s.l.

A beautiful and intelligent being, capable of emotion, love, care and understanding. The photograph is stunningly beautiful and technically perfect in every way. I adore this piece of art, in my eyes, it is a true masterpiece. “ / / / / /

  • Cute little Monkey up on the tree in the life of the Jungle. Vector illustration.

  • A mixed media piece. Colored pencils, and archival ink for the border. This drawing was done on smooth, heavy bristol paper. It sure has a different look than the ones that I’ve done on vellum bristol papers.
