This is a tree I came across in a hike through some of Algonquin Park. I took a picture of this because of how the sky manages to peak through all the leaves, and how well I could capture the height from taking a picture stright up from the base of the tree.

Unusual mushroom shot taken , while hiking, on Pisgah National Forest near Marion, NC. The blue stick in the left of the photo is due to a chemical reaction to decaying wood. It is in the exact location as found, wasn,t placed there. I thought it was a cool natural color combo.
