Actually, who are you not to be? / You are a child of God. / Your playing small does not serve the world. / There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. / We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. / It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. / And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. / As we are liberated from our own fear, / our presence automatically liberates others.” by Marrianne Williamson ~ excerpts from Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles. • It was the same lane as one week earlier, with the leaves of the beech-trees just turning a bit more towards their autumn colours. This time I did not even have to wait. Just to get off the bike quickly and into position for shooting these two lovely ladies coming towards me on their beautiful Haflingers. That was a real piece of good luck. • For the RedBubble Community Happy challenge. / I rate a 10 when my head is in the clouds, daydreaming and enjoying my imagination. Creating, Reading, Nature, Mothering… these things make me most happy. / Like most artists, I think, I have had dark times but I feel the worst is behind me and I have learned to be an optimistic person. No, I’m not always a 10 on the happiness rating but most days, I’m there… / Self-Portraits are very difficult for me, but the challenge sounded fun. There are some amazing entries in the challenge, take a look.
