  • Captured in Oatman, Arizona. Located in the middle of the desert, and known for the wild Burro’s that raom the street, it is hard to imaging that some peculiar duck species actually migrates from the Grand Canyon to Oatman during the month of June. Scientists are still processing migration data and surely will capture, tag and band some of these for future research. This little fellow was spotted on an antique Fordson tractor right on Main Street. Note the similarities to this Duck spotted at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon: / Then later, spotted in Bristol TN, at a NASCAR race: /

  • Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Fordson Tractors 1917 to 1950 Apart from a fairly unsuccessful attempt at tractor design in 1907, it was to be in 1915 that Henry Ford would again turn his attention to tractor production. Using the Ford Mass-Production principles, a team were given the task of creating a tractor which would dominate the tractor market. • Old Fordson tractor, left to rust. Bunbury Western Australia Olympus E-410

  • This old tractor stands at a neighbor’s farm here in Manitoba. He told me it’s around 1947/48. He does know it’s pre 1951. He hopes to restore it and get it going again one day soon. Thank you Ron for the photo opportunity. / / Canon Rebel XT; Canon 18-55mm lens / Dynamic Photo HDR / 1/320 sec.; F/13; 55mm; ISO 400

  • This 1940’s Fordson Tractor was manufactured during W.W.II. It has a dual fuel tank. The smaller part filled with petrol to start the engine and the larger part with TVO (Tractor Vapourising Oil or Paraffin) to use when the engine was warmed up. It is fitted with spade-lug rear wheels and cast iron front wheels as rubber was a scarce commodity during the war. / This one was found outside the Ryedale Country Museum at Hutton-le-Hole, North Yorkshire.
