This is another of my distant shots from the AFL calendar I used to do. These guys really did an amazing job in looking so natural in front of the camera. Posing for modelling shots was definitely out of their comfort zone. I am really passionate about running workshops pertaining to images such as these. I have set up a group to promote and feature these workshops. / Empowered Beauty / Also please visit my personal website www.leapoffaith.com.au

was a 1970 Holden HG Kingswood sedan. Here she is in this old photo, digitalised from an original polaroid and I hope retains the look I wanted of an aged image from my memories…this image is actually going to be included in a project I am doing called ‘Pieces Of Me’. I bought her in 1986, when I was 17, mind you I never drove her, my boyfriend at the time, who is still my boyfriend, believe it or not, drove it and I never got my license until I was 26. I paid $1500 for her. You are lucky to get a shell for that now of these classic models, a lovely car that was like my little house at the time and a special hangout to hangout with friends at places like this…a game of Footy on a Saturday arvo at the local footy field, this one in question actually being at Mt Kembla, a suburb of Wollongong, NSW. / This car and her memories is definitely a ‘piece of me’.
