A sand dune covered in foot prints early in the morning . some photoshop work done mostly in contrast & levels

Picture was taken on the weekend of 24-25 June 06 in an area called “Dead Horse Gap” near an alpine resort of Thredbo, Australia. It is on one the high peak. There were a bit of snow but not enough to cover the grass yet. Wild horse roam this area. You can see their footprints in the photo.

Foot Print
by Shreei wanted to show the gradual stages of life which starts with the small foot print & takes till the end of life with the last foot print…by intrecating divine Aum and another divine symbol Swastik in a foot print….done wiht my little thumb’s nail, embossed on a specail kind of paper….....my Nail Painting… All my original work is for sale…mail me if anyone is interested. This is the little foot bridge around the forest I frequent with River. It was shot after the first snow this winter. Yesterday someone wanted to purchase this piece at a local gallery but she wanted me to give her more choices of framing and I finally came up with this version and she (along with her children) love it as her 12-year-old called it “The Magic Ice Bridge”. So I thought perhaps some of you would like it too! :)

The iconic center of attention for this festival is the massive and intricate water fountain that sits in the middle of Saint James Court. In preparation for the festival, I took my camera to the fountain and spent 6 hours shooting. The dunes of aberdeen in 2007, they are a place of special interest and research as these dunes shift. However donald trump has seen to it that they will be ruined all for the cause of a golf course. I was very sad to hear he got the go ahead. The only treatment here was black and white.

To have a good friend, take their hand… and walk on the beach. This is a story.. of best friends who happend to marry best friends who both have two year olds. The girl is my daughter Summer and her best of friends Matthew. Thank you Larissa for calling this to my attention. I have been away on vacation with limited internet access so I will be catching up soon. I just couldnt resist this shot as I was mulling through my picts of the week spent with friends and family. Taken in the Outer Banks of NC. WOW! Thank you all so much for the comments, and favs. This is a very special image to me. I’m thrilled so many others took the time to take a visit. The lifeguard post of Main Beach, on the Gold Coast. One of many posts that cover the Gold Coasts 60 kilometre beach systems. The Gold Coast stretches from the very south/eastern corner of Queensland, well into New South Wales, Australia. This shot taken on the same day, almost at the same time as Surfers Paradise which was facing South. This shot facing West, into the setting sun, with very dramatic clouds! Canon 50D, 55mm. BEST VIEWED LARGER My neighbourhood, my sunrise, my inspiration. / Newport Beach I awoke looked out the window to see a glint of colour. Will i get out of bed , or roll over and go back to sleep ? Guess what decision won? Newport Beach is one of the many beaches, north of the city within a short drive. Everyone goes to Bondi that is crowded. Why not head north to pristine beaches, no crowds, and watch the sun rise and set. A good seafood meal, some chilled chardonnay or a beer. Sorry northern hemisphere bubblers it’s officially Summer downunder, so we have to put up with mornings like this for the next few months. Yes I know it’s hard but somebody has to do it !
