  • A brave mouse indeed. or foolish?

  • I’ve got something with eye’s and flowers, as you will notice when I upload more work. This one is, clearly, inspired by the Tarot card with the same name. It’s a 100% watercolour painting. I wanted to join up with a surrealism group here, but I’m not sure if this would fit in there. I always call it surrealism, but isn’t it more somewhere on the borderline between surrealism and fantasy art? With this I’ve introduced the 3 main areas of my artistic endeavors on to RB: still life photography, travel photography and watercolor paintings. I’m calling it a day. / Cheers detail at 100% / more work / I would also like to focus your attention on RosaCobos incredibly beautiful and inspirational comment on this painting: / I can see that he sees…. / I can feel that he is there waiting to open the egg of his own destiny. / But The Foold has not a destiny and he knows it! / The Eye…. peeing wide and wild the intensity of Life, / hidden behing the feminity of the flower..is tender and penetrating, / but not as much as he would love.. / noone takes him seriously, / excepting the wise.. / for you know. that famous quote…”The Fool that persists in his foolishness…..becomes wise”…....just I ponder about it.. and how come the wise can notice this…if his own wisedom makes him disregard such a vanity? the card /

There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / / Poem by Peter. In the corner sits a fool / her golden locks, / once tossed in confidence / now fall victim / to the rough hacking of the / shears held in her hands. In the corner sits a fool / the flowers of praise / once heaped upon her / now lie dead, turning to dust / borne away on the winds / of her own self disgust. In the corner sits a fool / her fine raiment / once worn so proudly / now ripped to shreds / by the talons of the many / whose den she accidently stumbled upon. In the corner sits a girl / broken but… / never beaten, / who belatedly realises / she has been played for a / fool Her tears now spent, / she raises her head defiantly, / fixes a baleful stare / upon the cause of her suffering / and whispers… / never again

  • (Please view large). / If any card in the Tarot is the Tarot, it is the Magician. It’s one of the most recognizable cards, always a favorite. It’s also the only card in the major arcana that refers to the minors with the “trumps” displayed upon his table. If the reader believes the Magician stands for the Querent, then the Querent either is, or is currently finding himself eloquent and charismatic at this time. Both verbally and in writing, the magician is clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.

  • Eyes wide open… / no repect for schedules / or domestic habits… / little small fool… / in my heart!
