There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / / Poem by Peter. I’ve got something with eye’s and flowers, as you will notice when I upload more work. This one is, clearly, inspired by the Tarot card with the same name. It’s a 100% watercolour painting. I wanted to join up with a surrealism group here, but I’m not sure if this would fit in there. I always call it surrealism, but isn’t it more somewhere on the borderline between surrealism and fantasy art? With this I’ve introduced the 3 main areas of my artistic endeavors on to RB: still life photography, travel photography and watercolor paintings. I’m calling it a day. / Cheers detail at 100% / more work / the card /

I Love this work,I had so much fun creating this art work , we all have been a FOOL or know some one who is a FOOL in our life time. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Rhana Griffin / wrote a great Poem also called the FOOL , I love it and goes very well with this art work . / , Thank you Rhana , please do visit her site to see more of her work. / THE FOOL In the corner sits a fool, / her head, once held so high / now hangs between her knees / as hot tears of shame / fall silently to / drip onto her feet. In the corner sits a fool / her golden locks, / once tossed in confidence / now fall victim / to the rough hacking of the / shears held in her hands. In the corner sits a fool / the flowers of praise / once heaped upon her / now lie dead, turning to dust / borne away on the winds / of her own self disgust. In the corner sits a fool / her fine raiment / once worn so proudly / now ripped to shreds / by the talons of the many / whose den she accidently stumbled upon. In the corner sits a girl / broken but… / never beaten, / who belatedly realises / she has been played for a / fool Her tears now spent, / she raises her head defiantly, / fixes a baleful stare / upon the cause of her suffering / and whispers… / never again
