The 4 parts all here now (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass), it is certainly a choir with a very “sweet” sound. This series (Dessertelia Choir) was designed for my sister (Amelia) who loves desserts a lot and who is also a choir conductor. Though it started off a personal gift, we later agreed these characters are lovely and we would like to share with everyone on the net. Hope you like them as much as my sister does.

This is one of four geishas I have made. I love the crisp, clean and formal look of Japanese art. I had fun choosing the moire fabric for the jet black straight hair, the colorful fabrics for the kimono and the grey background with the trailing flowers. / What I have observed from the traditional Japanese culture is; every aspect of their lives evolves around design, beauty and tranquility. The presentation of themselves, their home, outside environment, their foods and movements are intentional.

I was experimenting with fizzy water… pretty much placing anything I could find in the water to see what it would look like in the bubbles. The dried rose looked like it was drinking up the water… I placed blue metallic paper under the glass and used my sigma 105mm macro lens and flash. Enjoy!

Abstract oranges for sale in Play Del Carmen by a street vendor. She had lots of different kinds all ready to eat. It was so colorful!!! There are at least 50 oranges here I would say. Taken with a Canon XTI.
