When was the last time you were really scared? When I think back to my childhood I remember the folk tale about the crying lady that would float like a ghost and call out to her murdered children. Are You Ready For This?

The Hardships In Life Are The Walls Of Life's Labyrinth
by Charissa May BorroffI want to be intuitive to find my way in life.
A few months ago I thanked my mum for a book she bought me from the library sale. She wanted me to deface it and make it my own. only recently have I realised how important this book has been to me. It’s The Youngest Miss Ward by Joan Aiken and it’s been written as a Jane Austen type book. This book helped me out of some very dark times as a means to gather my thoughts and feel like me again when I felt totally broken by chronic pain. I ripped out pages and scratched words off . I painted over the pages and wrote on top and drew things. I’m not sure what exactly inspired me to write about the great spirit (I can only imagine I’d seen a western on the telly or it could have been the Tramadols ;) ) But I know that I felt desperatly let down by life and wanted to change things for the better. Shortly after I became a Reiki practitioner , I was startled by these words knowing where I was when I wrote them, because now I know nature is really there to heal and guide. But back then I wouldn’t have believed that would be as possible as I was wishing it to be.

folk – information provided by wikipedia:
Folk art describes a wide range of objects that reflect the craft traditions and traditional social values of various social groups. Folk art is generally produced by people who have little or no academic artistic training, nor a desire to emulate "fine art", and use established techniques and styles of a particular region or culture. Along with painting, sculpture, and other decorative art forms, some also consider utilitarian objects such as tools and costume as folk art. Antique folk art is distinguished from traditional art in that while it is collected today based mostly on its artistic merit; it was never intended as a category to be art for art’s sake. Examples include: weathervanes, old store signs and carved figures, itinerant portraits, carousel horses, fire buckets, painted game boards, cast iron doorstops and many other similar lines of highly collectible "whimsical" antiques.RedBubble is a great place to find art, design, photos and writing from over 50,000 talented people.
