I love fog and trees. Fog provides a mystical atmosphere on it’s own. When trees are also included it can also prove to be magical and enchanting. Some of my best photographs have been taken in the fog. This calendar includes some of those favorite pictures. As I stare into the fog, a sense of peace envelopes me. / My mind and body are filled as the fog rolls in and out. / My spirit is enlightened for I know; all is right with the / world. / All is how it should be. / I am at peace. Michigan’s beautiful four seasons.
A Year in Landscapes
The winter season in the state of Utah, USA often has fog that sets in with the snow and cold. This calendar shows trees, one of natures greatest creations, in this seasonal environment in two city parks in Salt Lake City. Most are strictly photographs, while some are digital art derived from photos. I think they show that wintertime, when everything goes dormant and becomes monochromatic, there is a stark beauty and serenity, along with a promise of spring and new life.
