This was taken one morning on a ride up Mt.Dandenong in Melbourne. We had just reached an altitude where the sun was coming through the top of the fog that was enveloping the rest of the city. / This was taken just before this picture : Breaking Through ~ / Browse Images by Category : Snow Landscape Nature

This was taken on a foggy day in the Toolangi State Park in Victoria with a wide angle lens. The position I was in gave an almost symmetrical view following the trunks into the canopy. ~ / Browse Images by Category : Snow Landscape Nature
EARLY MORNING MOUNTAIN TOP ENVELOPED IN DISSIPATING FOG
Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations. It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now, getting pretty. No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / We are surrounded by a big parc that belong to the «Université de Montreal» that means no construction for many, many yearsThe place I took that pic.is two minutes from my house. The many comments I had made me realise how lucky I am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Gisèle…alias …Micmac Thanks to Steve for choosing that pic for Pay it Forward Group / / Your image Early Morning has been nominated for the prestigous Pay it Forward Group by / Peaceofthenorth. / This is what he had to say about your image - / “I would like to nominate Gigi’s AKA “micmac ” photo “Early morning”….this is one of those pieces of photographic art that inspires one to perfection, as a Native Canadian artist her work speaks of the love of the land and her surroundings” /
I love fog I love the moon…what a fantastic dream to have them together… / One of my first double layers with Picasa,an experience I’ve tried, the moon is much to big but I liked the spooky mood…... :))....2 photos,a moon and a foggy night. The tittle came to me thinking about «Moonstruck» the movie with Sher when the old italian couple were looking outside the window by full moon .They were so much in love and it was so touching… / /
UNTOUCHED PICTURE / I went to the lake very early in the morning ,it was pretty cold but it was worth it ,it looks like the trees were in fire.Oh! NO SATURATION ,this was exactly that color. With saturation we would see some blue tint and we don’t .I could’nt beleive it myself. / Saint-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / I often go to that local city parc on foggy morning. / 18 nov 09…10,365 views….. / people Favorited 313 / / / PANASONIC FZ20 / 55.6 MM-—-1/60 SEC-—-F 2.8-——ISO 100 / Maxhamish(who’s no longer in RB bought a small frame print 4 months ago. / Weberwanjek,a bubbler, bought a mounted print the 11/09/08
When the conditions are right where I live we experience the wonderful phenomena of sea fog. The first one I experienced was when I was “in between” cameras. I was devastated! I have been hoping ever since that we would get another one… I peered out the window today while I was on the phone and saw that today was the day! I had to make my apologies to my friend on the phone – a girl has to get her priorities right – and happily spent the next two hours snapping, with my young boys as my photography assistants. The title of this piece is inspired by one of my favourite scenes in Lord of the Rings. Gandalf the mighty wizard gives his life to ensure the freedom of his friends… and so my friend today gave to me the same gift of freedom as I hastily hung up the phone to explore my sea fog. 5000+ views
Veil of Mystery Photography & Artwork / by Holly Kempe © A stand of bare limbed trees on a gently rolling hillside emerges from the veil of an early morning fog. Canon 350 D 17-40 mm lens. Winter landscape with sunset in fog.
This was taken in Morton National Park just north of Ulladulla on Pointer Gap Road. There is a great lookout at the end, just don’t go when the weather’s like this. /
This was taken along the Princess Hwy,traveling to Bairnsdale, Victoria. It’s so sad to see the effects of the drought first hand – the paddocks lined with dead trees and in the fog were a testimony to our harsh weather AS IS Sold / 20×24 framed matted print -art gallery

In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. I particularly like the fact that compared to a lot of fog shots it displays color, to I think, an advantage and shows the promise of a beautiful sunny summer day emerging… Nikon D40, Nikkor 18-55mm lens Featured in the group Ontario November 2009 / Top Ten placement in the Summer challenge for the group Ontario November 2009 / Top Ten Placement in the Nikon D40 Users, Masterpiece challenge, September 2009 / Featured in the Nikon D40 Users group, July 2009 / Top Ten in the Journey or Destination challenge for the First Things group, July 2009 / Featured in the Outsiders, March 2009 / Featured in Canada: The Great White North group September 2008 / Featured in the Nirvana group September 2008 / Avatar for Shots In The Fog group October 2008 / Featured in the ImageWriting group November 2008 / Featured in the 100% group.
