This is one of the areas that inspired me to try my hand at photography. Who can complain of an hour drive to work with views like this? Spotted some horses in a field on the way to work yesterday, the sun was just coming through the mist, had to go turn round and go back to have a look and came away with a couple of nice shots. There was a thick frost on the ground, real crisp winter morning Thanks to Richard Shepherd for the title.

This image I created for George (gemlenz) / George’s dream was for a perspective of the other side from life. I know from time to time I’ve caught myself day dreaming about how life after death would be…and never will myself or anyone really know forsure, but I would like to think that it is a beautiful and very surreal place. Uploaded this at my folks.. No dial up there.. LOL.. This is a view of our back yard out in the bush or what we call country bumpkins .. A table and chairs , watching the sun come up.. Or the light fad at sunset.. We have deer that like to come to visit also..There are positives and negatives to living out in the sticks.. Please enjoy our coffee zone.. A Reminder On Your Desk

A funny thing happened on the way to Mt. Rainier well before sunrise. I noticed the morning mist rising over Clear Lake and the cirrus clouds fanning out above them and decided that a glorious sunrise on the lake was worth more than a maybe on the mountain. I fumbled my way in the dark via flashlight to the lakes edge and had time to search for composition before the heavens lit up. Not a bad way to start a day at all.
