A nearly completed barge waits in the icy waters of Sturgeon Bay (Lake Michigan). Sturgeon Bay’s old steel bridge is wrapped in a blanket of fog in the background. I like this shot – it reminds me of the WPA era photos. I didn’t do anything to this photo other than crop it and adjust the levels a bit.

We currently live in southern New Jersey, Salem County, near the Delaware Bay. Our neighbors are farmers or crabbers (or both). This is part of the swamp I cross every day on my way to and from work to get to the New Jersey Turnpike (Exit 1 for you NJ folks). I will miss the views, but not the turnpike when we finally move to Florida! This was a very fun day! I met kathy and Gina before sunrise, bounced around the park and had some sincere laughs! These two were so fun to be with!
