I love my morning walks a lot, especially at dawn.

The SS Dicky was washed ashore onto Dicky Beach in 1893 during a cyclone. It was re-floated, but again, heavy seas turned the ship about and back onto the sand where it remains to this day. / / The suburb and beach was named after the ship. The beach is an unspoilt stretch of sun-drenched sand, on Queensland’s magnificent Sunshine Coast. Taken with my 5D and 16-35mm lens and I was so lucky to have a nature spectacle as the fog rolled in from West creating a mystic ambience I have also written a photographers guide if you are interested in knowing more about this site

Cove Morning Fog. Framed Print: Laminated Print:
The Causeway Victor Harbor on a misty morning. A special spot with my fathers ashes having been spread here at his favorite fishing spot. Every time I visit the Causeway it is bathed in different light and weather.
I took this shot of the marina… it was cold, wet and foggy

Wind Dancer- a poem by Miss Jordan 9 years old Out there on the deep blue sea / Not far from the island of Anglessey / In the fog shrouding the boat / Wind Dancer sails gracefully afloat The coast is not very far away / Soon she will dock in the bay / Out there sails the Wind Dancer / The mighty boat, the wave prancer

On April 1, 2009 this image won the Black & White Challenge in the Retired & Happy group. This image placed third in the Best Treatment challenge in December ‘08. The Golden Gate Bridge was barely visible in this dense morning fog. From a cliff overlooking the bay, the pillar was visible as well as a misty outline of the San Francisco skyline. Built in 1933, the bridge was completed 5 years later in 1937. It is a part of US Highway 101 and State Route 1, and is the only road to exit San Francisco to the north. A bit of trivia: The suspension bridge is 8,981 feet in length and is 200+ feet above the water. It has a total of approximately 1.2 million rivets holding it together. Coastal Mantra Series- Flying Meditation has been nominated for the prestigious Pay it Forward Group by Kellie Cranmer of Kcranmer Art Kellies quote to the group in submitting this image was: ”I chose this image because of the simple beauty it brings. Sometimes you can get the best impact by a bird flying…as nature would intend it to do…and Lina captured it so beautifully!! Also…Lina is one amazing soul.
