    EARLY MORNING MOUNTAIN TOP ENVELOPED IN DISSIPATING FOG

  • A short hike above the famous turnout and view of the valley I found some trees to frame the most famous Mtn. Valley in the world.

  • This was one of those freak photos, straight off my camera, the only thing i changed was the white balance and the original was in color!!!... i walked straight past this spot on the walking track and my friend pulled me up!!! Spider webs were every where, there was late afternoon fog that had nt lifted, sun was perfect, dead trees, it was all there!! 30 mins later when we walked past, the sun was too low and the fog had lifted and the web could hardly be seen!!! freaky…......right place…......right time…....hahahaha…

Taken on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA with the Nikon D40x, using the 18-135mm lens on 9/20/08. Other than cloning off some dew drops, it’s pretty much as is from the camera.
