This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. / You’ve seen this egret before. The rest of the scene was computer generated. I used a new tool to me here called the Art History Brush Tool to create the misty look and clouds. The sun and sky were created from a gradient brush and I used blur to, ah, blur it. i created the land using the freeform pen tool and flood to create the water. The reflection of the egret was created from a duplicated layer of the bird and lower opacity. That’s about it. Hope you like!
