This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. This chap was taken at 3.5 times magnification – hence the lack of DOF The Exif is :- F/stop 16 / ISO 100 / Exposure 1/15 sec / External light a must, at this magnification there is very little light – I use a ring light MR14 EX / All profits from the sale of this work will be donated to Wildlife-Appeal.
