All profits from the sale of this work will be donated to Wildlife-Appeal. Tiny fly balancing on a tiny bloom in Spring – I had missed so much before I got into Macro photography and never cease to marvel at these wonderful creatures just getting on with their lives. /
This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. I took this photo of a lilly and realised, as nice as it was, it was just like the 1001 other lilly photos out there, so I decided to try something a little different… hope u like it! Enjoy! _

Oil Pastel and Acrylic On Wood Concept: This is one of the many in Ophelia’s Love Encounters Series, it’s her experience of many facets of this wonderful thing called LOVE.. This is what she has to say about love today : “Love is lighting up somebody else’s darkest moments, bringing hope when all seems lost.” / You can view and buy my other “Love Is Lighting Up Somebody’s Else’s Darkest Moments” at my Zazzle Gallery: /
Oil Pastel And Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) Here’s Ophelia all dressed up for a party that she’s hosting! A party that celebrates all that life has to offer, both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. In fact, everyday can be a celebration of life…just take a few moments..and you will find that you are “richer” than you think you are :D You can view and buy my other “Celebration Of Life” products at my Zazzle Gallery:
Oil Pastel With Acrylic (With Minor Digital Enhancements) Ophelia riding across the lands on a giant colour palette and paintbrushes close to her wings, she hopes to make her little contribution to this world by painting it a better place :D Here’s something she would love to share with you: Where there is Despair, let me paint Hope Where there is Turmoil, let me paint Peace Where there is Fear, let me paint Courage Where there is Grief, let me paint Comfort Where there is Pain, let me paint Restoration Where there is Poverty Of Soul, let me paint Abundance Where there is no Vision, let me paint Sight Where there is Doubt, let me paint Faith Let Me Paint The World A Better Place!! I took one look at this thought of ‘Swing swing by The All American Rejects’ / It reminds of a silly time pre-teen time, when I was so naive, but life was a little less stressful. I was 13 and I can still remember sneaking my headphone’s into my ear in the middle of class. / This shot took ages literary overnight, I was still doing it at 3am then I was like this is crazy I need to sleep, / heres the before and after / http://www.flickr.com/photos/ar_photography/3257119412/

Roseate Spoonbills are among my favorite birds. This male was posing on a branch in Iberia Parish in southern Louisiana.
Canon 350D / F/5.6 / 1/400seg / ISO-100 I was sitting day dreaming on my varanda and this most beautiful (and the biggest) butterfly that I had ever seen came to visit my Bougainvillea. When I realised I wasn’t still day dreaming (as I never get the honour of such beautiful visitors) I ran inside to get my camera half expecting she would have already gone! It was so hard as she kept fluttering around but I manage to get this shot. / This is very new to me as I have never been able to capture something as beautiful as this. 170 views at the time of entering the 100+ group Featured in Dimensions 14th November 2009 / Featured in Backyard Macros and Close ups 14th November 2009 / Featured in Portugal 15th November 2009
