Remnants of Hurricane Noel passing by Corolla, North Carolina. Fortunately there was no damage, and beach erosion was kept to a minimum. It was fun watching the Pelican’s fly between the crashing waves. Amazing how effortless they can fly, even with wind gusts up to 60mph. Extremely difficult shot, so many moving “parts” that it is hard to get the lens to focus (Sigma 50-500mm).

The view to the 45 metre high lookout, from one of the treetop walkways, 25 metres above the rainforest floor, at The Otway Fly located deep in the Great Otway National Park. / It may have been uphill climb, but only a very gentle gradient and definitely worth the climb up that spiral staircase to experience the breathtaking view !!!
