  • Image by photographer Glennis Siverson, www.glennisphotos.com This beautiful water reflection scene is at the end of the trail in Reed Flute Cave, located near the city of Guilin, China. I shot this on 35mm film, then had it converted to a high res tiff file. There was no editing done to this….. it is really that lovely! This is one of the last images I shot on film before making a complete transition to digital.

  • I am not sure if this is the right name, in dutch we call it “dwarsfluit”.

  • Softsweet is the flautist of the Unseelie Orchestra. A woman by day, and an owl by night, she can only play her enchanted instrument at dusk when her body is between her two shapes. It is then that she is most enarmoured of song and light.

  • The Magic Flute was Mozart’s last opera. It was produced at Vienna on September 30, 1791, and on December 5 he passed away.Something that has always disturbed me is that this wonderful composer was never given a decent burial. He was thrown into a commoner’s grave. What I never understood and still can’t understand is why people didn’t get together and bury him with some recognition and dignity? This painting is for him….Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Wax, enamels, inks and graphite

  • Experimenting with a very simple vintage effect … if you like it, I’ll post a tutorial. The process requires layers and while I did it in photoshop, I can’t see why it wouldn’t work in Elements. It is very effective on portraits also.
