Bunny is usually a term used to describe a rabbit or hare. The term is a diminutive of “bun”, a word of Scottish origin that in the 16th and 17th centuries was a pet name for rabbits, squirrels and sometimes young women or children. Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae.They are sometimes affectionately known as bunnies or bunny rabbits, especially by children.There are seven different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including the European Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genus Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami Rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species on Amami Oshima, Japan).Rabbits are clearly distinguished from the related hares in that rabbits are altricial, born blind and hairless; many also live underground in burrows or warrens. Indoor pet rabbit can live 6-12 years, they can even become good friends with cats and dogs.

this little pom pom has been sitting on my computer for such a long time, somehow i never got round to putting him on the bubble. His little friend frenchy is very popular and so i though i better set him free! Very cute, but crazy so beware!
