Here’s some dandelions growing in my front yard with the sky & clouds in the background.

A photograph with “home made P.S.” the only difference is that the objects were live, hand picked and hand applied. It was made with layers of nature, reflections and things around the house. /

Eventually I intend to make a series of “weeds” shots. The rationale being that often the things we consider to be an eyesore can actually be very beautiful. This is the first but don’t hold your breath. I get sidetracked easily. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——-

Title from Australian Idol quotes. I thought it was an appropriate title for this little weed that’s on the verge of being a flower
-
Ted Widen took the photograph and I, Thea Walstra played with it. We ended up with adding a big, transparent ball / bubble. The bubble / ball reflects the fireweeds. We think that the result is very pretty. I hope that the Redbubblers agree. /

I was at a loss for a title for this one…..and after staring at this image…this title is the one that struck me.

...all the time, wherever you may be, I’m picturing me with you… super macro shot of the tinsiet little weed in my garden, added multiple layers in photoshop including additional image layers to create this final image

This is an actual macro image of a weed. Of course I had to enhance it a follows: Applied sepia tone, Fractalius, Mr. Contrast, gradient filter, orton effect The background was blurred foliage. After application, I was impressed with the colors that popped out. Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite

The inner depths of a Moon Flower with a blue tint. If you need a bit of relaxing, just enlarge this image and submerge yourself into the depths of it; it really works! There is something about the calming effect of the color blue, and being enveloped in this luscious flower blossom does the trick for me! I actually took this in a bowl of water, on my kitchen table….the light was just coming through the window a bit and it added a little “glow” to the blossom…....this is taken with a Canon A640, 10 megapixel….....hope you enjoy it as much as I. The Inner Depths of Blue There is nothing like it, / Not the sweet smell of the elegant Rose, / Nor the luminescence of the morning dew. / Nothing shares the calming effects of / The Inner Depths of Blue.

Dragonflies and ladybugs dancing around dandilion puffs.

I have done a sepia version of this (slightly different) and I don’t know which I like better to get printed – all opinions welcome…

Why that title you ask? Well to me this looks like an album cover where the singer is right up close and the rest of the band are in the background just doing whatever. What? You don’t see that?
