Here’s a nice, simple card for that special occasion, or to just tell someone you care. I purposefully left my signature off so it could be used as a card. Although, it makes a nice wall piece also. I am going to put it on a tee shirt also. Hope you like!

From the flowers my wife got in the hospital. I played with my macro lens on this. Had to set the Fstop to f25 to get everything in focus. ISO 100, shutter speed 1/4. I also used a flash. I consider this one of my best floral shots. / Hope you like!

Just experimenting here. This was a photo of a flower from the side which I placed on a gradient background. I used Fractalius on both images, merged them both, added flood and gradient brush. Next I used lighting effects to improve lighting. Finally, I used paint daubs to give that painted look. Do you think it’s too dark? Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite

Used patterns from Xoas, a photo of the flower, and Photoshop techniques.

Not my normal sort of thing and I considered abandoning it a few times. / Imagine it, no political message, no black humour. It has no edge / But when I got it into my head that I was going to finish it no matter what was when the problems really started. / Flowers are easy enough, I knew that from the geMeni drawing but leaves, I found out are a pain in the arse and no mistake. I’m still not completely happy but I am definitely finished working on it and on to new projects. / I’m taking suggestions for a new name for this and its wide open for critique. / Pencil is only my thing since about six weeks ago. Here’s the cool thing about this though, I didn’t look at one picture of a flower, just did it off the top of my head. Copyright © 2008 Simon Deevy.
