this drawing was inspired by a photograph I came across in bribiedamo portfolio.It is I think no longer there,but I fell in love wih the simplicity and beauty of this image and bribiedamo was kind eough to allow me to reproduce it. / The lyrics I am posting here were posted with the original image,so I have posted them here too.From one of my favourite musicians of all time. / CRUCIFY YOUR MIND “Was it a huntsman or a player That made you pay the cost That now assumes relaxed positions And prostitutes your loss? This is a Tafe project gone completely awol lol.. / We had to put a collage of separate facial features together and make a portrait,and then do a painting from that. / Well,this is mine.When I did the original collage he looked kinda like a monkey. / I don’t mind that because it gave me a loose concept.The corporate jungle. / Told ya I have a lot to learn!!! / Acrylic/oil pastel on craft paper.

This is some form of driveable machinery on the fern farm.I desaturated most of the image.I DID NOT colour the pink bits.They are as they were. This is my favourite photograph from this series so far.It’s just hilarious.I’m guessing a man designed this machinery! / /

And again….I took this photograph on a walk the other day.IThere was a pile of plasterboard wrapped in plastic,and I caught my reflection in it.I thought it looked kinda cool so I took a photo. / Just now I put it on the computer.I had only slightly adjusted the contrast,and up in the top left hand corner I saw what looks to me like an angel/cherub type figure.I desaturated the image because the colour wasn’t uniform throughout the image,and I could see the figure better.Down in the right hand corner is the number 5. I am NOT an INTENSELY spiritual person,for the most part I tend to be somewhat of a realist,but in light of the fact that these faces keep materialising in my photographs,and I am in this one,I can’t help but wonder if this photograph means something. / And I am not under the influence of drugs or alcohol :-) /
