The setting sun illuminated a Rajasthani village woman in her family compound’s field of marigolds as she tended to her colorful crop. She brought to mind a flower that had sprung to life from her surroundings. Photographed in a small village near Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. November 2007. Canon 10D with Canon 100-400mm lens.
