Please support me and favorite this piece here too. Thank you / / Click them / / / / Featured at the Out of the Blue group on December 5th 2008 Featured at the Photographers Self-portrait group on December 14th 2008 Thank you all! Yaaaaaay the last one in the petals + make-up series. Blue/green. I think this has come to be one of my favorites out of them all, I’ve just been getting better and better at them. This one is much like Organic Petals, an intense close-up which is what I was going for. Enjoy!! And thank you for the support and favorites!
This is not at all what I originally wanted. I was going for a Kiss metal rock kinda look. But the colors and patterns made me think of a Peacock so I added flowers instead and then it started looking like a sad bride, hence the “the” part in the title as in she was something to be desired.
Nikon D300, Nikkor 105 micro VR. / I thought I would share my good news with you all. My image of Rudbeckia hirta ‘Marmalade’ has been awarded 1st prize in the plant portrait category of the RHS photographic competition and given me my dream of becoming RHS photographer of the year 2008.

The bell-shaped flowers of Nectaroscordum siculum / also known as Allium bulgaricum, Allium sicilum – Sicilian honey garlic. I took this photograph in 2007 and was lucky to have it placed 1st in the plant portrait category of the RHS photographic competition 2007. I thought I would share it with you as it seemed to sum up the weather we are having in England, wet, wet, wet! / Half coloured, thank you to gottheshot friend and fellow bubbler for the idea! / I have also a softer pink version, I would really appreciate some feedback as to which version you like the best, thank you :) / / / Original drawing, please note the actual rainbow that appeared on the drawing from light coming in through the trees outside the window of my studio, hence her name…. Bramble Rainbowtree…. she throws her arms skyward reaching to the heavens above… spots, stripes, flowers and streamers are added to convey the celebration and joyfulness in her spontaneous gesture…. ...Little Bramble Rainbowtree began as a little pencil drawing inspired by my beautiful niece Maya, who has the longest hair ever! This so reminds me of her, except that Maya’s hair is much more beautiful and much darker in colour. ...I have coloured Bramble Rainbowtree digitally, I hope you like this special fairy :) ...a great little vintage design for big and little girls, friends, birthdays, gifts, bedroom decor, nursery walls, etc.
