It’s my favourite flower photo I have taken to date. / I found this flower really expresses teenage angst, the tears in the bottom would usually make the flower look ugly. It’s like people tearing at your self esteem but the flower is still beautiful :)

This was taken at the Longwood Gardens (PA) water gardens last year. The water gardens are in the central court of the conservatory greenhouses and contain hundreds of water lilies, lotuses, and other water plants. Perhaps there are thousands…dragon flies are ever-present in this enchanted garden.
