Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (1 from series of 6 – redesigned from 2004/5 Japanese Series). Re-worked combining two from the series. Shot the tree, flowers & combined them in P/S with drawn elements & filtered the lot. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Generally I tire of my artwork yet still love this series to this day.

Using the technique “through the viewfinder” this image came through not one but two cameras to become the piece you see.

I think I’ve achieved my goal with the lavender serie. / this is the second I upload in my lavander serie. Many are so different from others. The first in my folio is the original with an artistic painterly feel. This one postworked in many colors and the one to come also as is but neat & clear with beautiful light. ... and more to come later. Passion Series A Collaboration between Reynaldo and Anthea Slade / This is the 13th Artwork of the16 Painting/16 Drawing Collaboration with the brilliant and gifted artist/painter Reynaldo. It is a great pleasure and honour to collaborate with such a highly talented artist and wonderful person. Garden of Love I had a dream sublime / that danced across my mind / I saw giant flowers in a garden tower / above two lovers dancing, There was sun flower / yellow and gold / Filled with joy amplified / full of stories still untold. There was a pink rosebud / innocent and pure / Waiting for her time to blossom / under the sensuality of his touch. Another was a crimson daisy / with petals outreaching / Longing to connect / and nurture through her teaching. And there was also big purple heart / that opened and radiated life / Speaking of spiritual connection to start / then followed the mind, body & heart Then there was a beautiful red rose opening / to full bloom under the rain of passion, / the breeze of trust, the sun of love and / the moon of romantic seduction And the lovers danced through the flowers / eye to eye, / heart to heart, / soul to soul, / They saw each other and they knew… They had found that elusive thing / a lover who knew the real in them and / could dance to the same heartbeat / until the end of time.
