ABOUT MY EXHIBITION The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. CLICK PHOTO IF YOU WANT VIEW

100% OF ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALES OF MY ART OR DONATED ART GOES TO PHILADELPHIA MISSION, A REGISTERED CHARITY. WE WORK WITH EXTREME POOR SICK AND DISABLED IN ISOLATED AND RURAL AFRICAN VILLAGES. This is Violet aged 15 years old. She works in the fields from sunrise to sunset. Her Parents are dead. Violet works the small plot of land hoping to grow enough food for herself, her three younger brothers and sick Grandfather. she has a disability caused by Rickets, a disease that is common here. Her upper and lower limbs are bowed outwards. Yet Violet must force herself to work, or her dependants will starve. Please help us to help her and many more like her. This poem was beautifully written by a very talented poet and Writer called Adgray. God Bless you for wring this fitting piece . Does she dream of dancing and movies and fun / this girl with the faraway eyes / Has she the wish to kiss Brad Pit / Did she cry when Heath Ledger died? / What does she wish for when Christmas comes? / an ipod or mobile phone? / Does she complain there’s no chocolate again / in the fridge when she gets home. We complain we don’t have enough to survive / Money to cover our bills / and purchase the service and goods we desire / AND the luxury home in the hills / But where does it say life must be this way / That we have and she has not / That our world be of greed luxury and games / and hers of pain and hard lot. I look in the depths of these faraway eyes / and I think of my own teenage life / How I struggled with that I was expected to do / and rebelliously got into strife / I look at my own daughter of fifteen years / And know how I fiercely protect her / I support all her learnings and all her dreams / and use all my wisdom to guide her. But they are similar these girls far apart / for my daughter also cares for her home / She looks out for her younger siblings as well / and is rarely allowed to roam. And I wonder if having is really a curse / for to have not enough creates stress / equal to that of not enough food / but granted the consequence is less I shall show all my children these faraway eyes / for this girl is also one of their peers / their ages are similar their wants must compare / how I long to abate all her tears / I cannot succeed in my western world life / I struggle myself to survive / But oh how I wish I could lavish life’s gifts / On those beckoning faraway eyes. Please visit Charity website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ 100% of all money raised from sale ofall my art goes toward the extreme poor in isolated villages in Africa. I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It was really a blessed boat trip. visit: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/

Please visit Mission to Africa website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Sarah was close to death when she was brought to our mission center in Kujama Nigeria. I was getting ready to travel to ungwa/fada Village to see how they were coping with the new water pump and Grinder we bought them on our previous visit. As I was loading the vehicle, one of my helpers noticed a man carring a woman on his back. We found out later he had walked 6 miles carrying his sick wife. She was unable to move or communicate with us. We carried her into the small hall. Her body was all swollen and she was in great pain. I spoke to her husband through an intrepritor and he told us she was suddenly stricken with sickness a week ago. He was so distraught. I then spoke to Sarah and assured her that God was a God of Great love and compassion, and that he would heal her. I just knew that all were about to see a miracle take place. / Jesus says: / Mar 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. With the help of an Intrepretor We began to Pray. I laid hands on Sarah and began to praise and Worship God. he has anointed me with power over all power of the enimy. It was about 10 minutes later, that Sarah opened her eyes and began to Speak. / It was not the native Housa Language, but the heavenly Language she was speaking, Gift of Tongues. Her legs began to move anddn her arms. 25 minutes later, and Sarah ws sitting up on a chair. This Photo was taken just 30 minutes after the Lord filled her with the Holy Spirit and completely healed her. PRAISE GOD! I spoke to Sarak on 2oth June 2008 Via telephone, and she is well and sharing her Miracle with many. Sarah was healed on 11th December 2007. / This was witnessed by 30 villagers who had gathered outside the small hall. Please visit my Africa Mission website. [Click on link below] / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ These are just some of the children in Ungwa/Fada village, that are in desperate need of our help. / Disabled by rickets and isolated by most others, they struggle each day just to survive. Lack of Vitamin [D] and other minerals cause Rickets. / I observed them during three days, as I lived in the village. They stayed together in a small group, and watched the other children run and play together. Other disabled children did the same. Three children could not walk and crawled on their hands and knees. One could only move along on her bottom. There is NO HELP or CARE for these children. We will with your Prayers, and Financial donations be able to feed, cloth and train as many as we can in skills that will help them. The Abundant Harvest Project, which will start in early 2009, will eliminate Rickets adn most other diseases. / I will be going ut on 9th October to this and other villages. / Please do what you can to help. This began as a photo of an actual “Secret Garden” my husband and I found on one of our “Date Days”, there were wood sculptures of insects and many levels of an array of beautiful flowers. This dragonfly sculpture stood watch above the garden and I played with many flower photos and a few fairies to greate the magic that unleashes within my mind’s eye…and voila ;) “In my garden there is a large place for sentiment, my garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful.” Abram L. Urban / /
Visit my Africa Mission Charity Website: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Ungwa/Fadda Village is very remote and many children here are disabled by Rickets. rickets is a disease that causes limbs to bow and leaves the child with chronic pain. Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? Taken while traveling through remote Nigeria in Niger Delta Region. This young boy came running towards our vehicle and we stopped for a welcome break, after 7 hours of bumpy dusty tracks. He wanted to sell us one of his animals. I felt so sorry for him, that I give him what he asked, after being told by one of our Missionary guides he had asked the going price. I refused to take his animal, as I felt we had enough food, and he looked so thin. After this he insisted that I should visit his settlement. After much persuasion with the team We did. None had heard about Jesus and his Love. All received Jesus as Lord. We also were able to give multi-vitamin tablets to the senior elder, and he promised to give each one a Tablet every day. It was a blessing. We now have a Local Missionary who visits the settlement each week. 100% of all proceeds from sale of my art goes toward helping the extreme poor, sick and isolated in villages in Africa.. PLEASE READ THIS. Taken in remote Nigeria. I and the team were waiting for the ferry to cross then Nile and continue our long journey to Tunga Zuga Village in kebbe state. Often my work as a missionary, working with extreme poor and sick children can be very emotional.Tears of sorrow and heartbreak, desperation and frustration overwhelm me as I and the small mission team do what we can with the little we have to help. yet there are times like this one when there is joy and happiness as I see people and scenes of great beauty. Truly God has blessed me with a wonderful life. I have never had the joy of owning my own home, or having a nice car or wealth. yet I am so happy to have a relationship with Jesus.God supplies all my needs, and I have travelled with God to many villages and he has blessed many. Life is more than a job,Career, wealth or designer cloths. Life is living in Gods presence everyday and experiencing his love and peace. Life for me is doing what is in Gods heart and that is helping the extreme poor. My Inspiration and passion is from God. I Live for him and he lives through me. I have been on mission and not a penny in my pocket, yet my heavenly father has met my needs, concerning Food, lodging, travel and covered all expenses. One one occasion, he sent an angel to pay my hotel bill. While in India The Lord moved me so much to travel overnight on a train, a day early to return to London. If I had not obeyed his leading, I would have been killed in a terrorist bombing. Its a wonderful Life with God. [Taken in Natural Light]. Taken on the banks of the river Nile, remote Nigeria. I got into conversation with this Muslim girl and I felt s deep compassion for her, as she said She sells peanuts to get money to help her Grandfather who cares for her and her brother and two sisters. Her mother is dead and when she died the father just left and never returned. She told me that she only sold three packets that day and she was selling from around 10 am to 7pm. She did not make enough even to buy basic foods. She spoke good English so I knew she had had some education. I and my fellow mission workers bought what she had left. Then I asked her If I could pray for her. She said yes. I asked God to open her heard adn reveal himself to her. We led to to Christ. She wept and the lord really did touch her. We now visit her village often. All proceeds from sale of my art, or donations made via our charity website goes to help extreme poor and sick in remote and rural villages of Africa.
