Tulips are one of my favorite flowers. This original acrylic painting was commissioned by my friend, Bridget, so I named it for her.

This dreamy vision of fragrant Frangipani brings back to me the heavenly colors and scents of this alluring tropical flower which I was blessed to enjoy today in my friend’s garden. I would like to dedicate this image to everyone here at RedBubble and to send you all a virtual bouquet of plumeria. This has to be the best photo site available to anyone. The people are super friendly and supportive and the talent represented here is remarkable. The products which are shipped all over the world are of superior quality, with amazing attention to detail. I am privileged and blessed to be part of such a beautiful endeavor. This ones is for ROSIE! My adopted Mom, she in heaven, now! But she inspired me very, very much! Some with her art, but even more with her love! Mr. Ford, and her, took me in, after my Dad died! Her favorite say’n was Ticked Pink! I love you, Rosie! For anybody who has not heard about the Flower Power Project, yet! We are going to set a World Record, before we are done building the largest calloge of images of flowers! The screensaver is for promotion purposes only, and the images are being used to gain support as I show people what we are doing! I highly encourage you to get involved, and add your own contributions, and be a part of history! We plan on adding all the images that are contributed, until we have covered the globe, and have made a statement for the artists community! / If you copy theses tags, flower power project screensaver , and paste into the RB search feild, then click search! This should bring up about 300 images that have been contributed already, by amazing talent here on RB! It is growing everyday, and the support is helping promote the Project! Our first venue is set for Frisco, Texas on March 15, 2008 at Frisco Square! It will include artists of RedBubble, as well as local artist, and the students from Frisco ISD, to start with! As we go, we will add more images to the calloge, from any artist who wishs to contribute! You will help with making a statement, and be a part of making history! / If you like what you see, feel free to add the same tags to your images, if you would like to add to the project! When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. I was reminded of those lines when I saw a single blade of grass that had gone to seed and was blooming deep in the woods. The tiny flowers were a sight to behold.
