When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. photoshop creation. Inspired by the saying “flower power”. Even though these flowers have been cut and contained in a vase they are still empowered and their spirits dance freely with joyous abandon. I think this applies to the human spirit as well. No matter how terrible the conditions are there are many whose spirit will never be broken!! /
