Last one for today guys lol I promise. sorry about all the uploads. Only a few more but I will leave those until tomorrow. :) Papilio rumanzovia, also called Scarlet Mormon is a very impressive butterfly from Australasia / Indomalaya ecozone (Australia). The first description was in 1821 by Eschscholtz. The wingspan is about 12.0 – 14.0 cm. The Scarlet Mormon is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The butterfly is black with great scarlet cycles.
Taken with a Canon XTi. This was taken in my friends garden this summer. The plants were huge and so were the blossoms. Beautiful to see in person.

Model – Tatiana Can’t even remember what edits I did to this now, but it’s crazy looking.
The rain came one Spring day suprising all the flowers. / It fell in soft sheets, from a partly cloudy sky. The delicate flower pedals grew weak and began to droop from the weight. It seemed to last for hours. When the rain finally ceased, the sun returned with its soft warm rays to dry out the rain soaked pedals. The flowers began to perk up and reach for the sky. I could almost hear them sigh. The rain came on one Spring day and the sun chased it away. Written by CarolM Canon 40D. A composite of 2 images, the flower and the textured background. Layered and blended, dodged and burned, lighting adjustments, filters, fine tuning. /
