An orchid still blooms on my kitchen windowsill with the low november sun (hooray!)streaming through behind. Untouched and straight from my new camera for which it was a (belated) test pic…...(yes I know I should have unwrapped it before taking it on hol…lol…) Taken with Nikon D60 (proud beaming grins) with Nikkor 18-200 lens (yay!) f/5.6 / 1/80 sec / ISO 100 / exp +0.3 / focal length 200mm / pattern metering / Aperture priority Please dont hesitate to contact me with advice or suggestions if you know about settings and things….I’d really appreciate it!! cheers / ding / ;))))))))))))))))))))))))))

When I took this capture, I didn’t realize how much like a jolly man this orchid is. I love the handlebar mustache on this orchid makes him look very jolly!!
