the fluditiy of water combined with the beauty of form
Once again, this flower was captured in the Lilian Fraser Gardens in Pennant Hill, NSW, Australia. An urban sanctuary, the garden contains many rare and unusual plants. This miniature azalea may not be that unusual, as it is a very popular flower in our gardens. This picture received a fair bit of mucking about in PSElements 3, including an inversion and mild poster edging plus colour desaturation etc., The Tamron lens and the D80 did all the hard work. Hope you like it!
Soft, beautiful and lovely. Digital photograph enhanced.
my plumbago.. from the garden.. enhanced digitally these ladies bloom more..the heavier I prune them.. man are the hearty party .

Now this one really has had the Photoshop treatment. This is my version of the death Shakespeare’s Ophelia from Hamlet. It was shot in a studio and the water effect (hopefully it’s obvious that’s what it is) is actually crumpled clingfilm in front of the lens. The manipulation bit is the wacky colours and the fact I copied half of one side of the model’s face to the other to make it symmetrical. The aim was to get a real mannequin look along with the deathly palour of course.
Music is my inspiration!

Due to some ongoing health issues I haven’t created anything in a long time. Too long. I feel lost without it and I miss my art friends terribly. / I hope you enjoy this piece. It’s been a while since I did one of these!!! :) They’re still my favourite type of piece to do but time and energy has been lacking lately. This one started life as a macro photo of, of all things, a head of broccoli. I was looking at it and thought what a cool texture photo it would make, so I took some shots. / All the photos used for this work are my own – an old pic of my daughter, photos of water drops, feathers, flowers, everything. Canon Powershot A480 point and shoot shots, layered in PSP Elements 2.0. Proudly made in New Zealand! :)
I found a wee fairy hidden in my new blooming cornflowers:) I just happened to catch her as she crouched down wondering what the heck I was up to…..silly woman crawling around on her hands and knees in the garden….lol I love the way I got the blue one to blur and the purple on so sharp…hope you like it too…is available with and without my faery friend.
This image of manipulated flowers looks to me like 3 masked faces, what can you see?I will leave it up to the viewer,it can be anything.
This Image was captured in my backyard with a Canon 450D using an EFS 55-250mm lens then manipulated with photo software to create this look and a fractilius filter was also applied.
