The Common Bluebell flowers in April and May. The stems are 10-30 cm long and bend over at the top. The lavender-blue flowers are pendulous, bell-shaped and slightly fragrant. The anthers are yellowish-white. In the United Kingdom the common bluebell is a protected species under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Landowners are prohibited from removing bluebells on their land for sale and it is a criminal offence to remove the bulbs of wild bluebells.

by AlomieThis is a shot, taken on Sunday 28th of June. Me and diado went up to just by Devils Dyke, just to shoot this field of Poppies! I saw this shot and couldn’t resist getting a few, this was taken on a telephoto lens, and I had to manually focus the thing, as my Nikon D60 can’t auto focus the lens, I think I did quite well to be honest! I saw this little guy and had to create a Tee. I think that we have all had our moments where someone has criticized your decisions or judged you, and I believe that this is a funny and cute way of saying get stuffed! This Tee is NOT, i repeat, NOT directed at anyone! It has no reason for creation other than the fact that I found it humorous.

the orchid is a straight up plain macro, minimal adjusting. / the background i added, i got quite caught up with & oddly, it looked way more effective on white (something to experiment with in future). / the title for this came straight away, just looking into the centre of the orchid… :D
