Tiny dandelion seeds against a colorful paper… Enjoy!
Fire and Ice was featured in The Woman Photographer and was published in Digital Camera Magazine in April 2009 if you like Fire and Ice, you may also like Poppy on Ice:
Only 11 layers used for this image which continues the series of works that include the poetry of Emily Dickinson. As if some little Arctic flower, / Upon the polar hem, / Went wandering down the latitudes, / Until it puzzled came / To continents of summer, / To firmaments of sun, / To strange, bright crowds of flowers, / And birds of foreign tongue! / I say, as if this little flower / To Eden wandered in— / What then? Why, nothing, only / Your inference therefrom!
Rose in ice.
A sort of follow up to an earlier image entitled Sun Fuzzies. Here are the pretty little things after the bitter cold days of winter have set in. I was so suprised to see that one fuzzy was in fact still….fuzzy.

One of the coldest places in the universe grows the most beatuiful form of Asters I have ever seen. Chalis IX has a variety of plants that bloom under and in on the ice tundras. Who would have thought this possible? I think I will stay in warmer climes to garden thank you. :o) Created in Apophysis 3D Hack. Postwork in Photoshop with light painting, color saturation, contrasts and burn and dodge. I also did some smudging.
