  • The Palm House was erected in 1881 – 1882. / One hundred and thirteen metres long, the Palm House consists of a 28-metre high central pavilion and two lateral pavilions which are three metres lower.   • There’s something about these dead daisies that just calms me… hmm.. that was an odd sentence. Haha, anyway…. I took this in the fall or late summer, just when all my daisies were going away. Enjoy!

  • “The Teacherage”, constructed of salvaged railroad ties (a common building material here) was a residence provided to the town’ s schoolteacher, as part of her salary. Although the yard is not maintained, those hardy yellow roses make their presence known for a few weeks every year.   • I’m going through my old files and found this of a hibiscus stamen. I love hibiscus, especially the stamen because it’s fuzzy and reminds me of fuzzy lolipops haha. Anyway, I took this with my sigma 105mm macro lens. Enjoy!

  • This is a house on a “coveted” street in town.The azaleas put on a grand show every spring.Acrylic/paper ..20×22

  • Last summer there was this crazy metallic green bee hanging around my garden. It was intersting because it hardly moved… I know it wasn’t dead because it walked around the flower it was on… but I went inside to get my extension tubes and a half an hour later it was still there. I don’t know what type of bug/bee it is… but I love it’s coloring! Enjoy!

  • Several times a year the Green Valley (Arizona) Camera Club tours Tucson’s Barrio Viejo and adjacent areas. The area is always changing with old homes being renovated and new construction that looks old being built. The colors are amazing!   • Flower Beds, Lake and House: Kew Gardens, London, UK / Kew Gardens is celebrating its 250 years anniversary. Imagine a garden that’s matured over that period of time. Some of the tree specimens are simply stunning, I’ll return in Autumn to get the folliage colour, I’ve heard it’s stunning.
