Pigeon Point, Pescadero, CA This is one of the tallest lighthouses in America and has been guiding mariners since 1872. This is one of the first photos I’ve taken with my new Canon 40d! There will be more to come!

i think this shot is very appealing… / it was a fluke to get the effects that i did in one go with little effort. there is almost no editing in this image at all, so pretty well straight up. fluky capture but sweet…. carnation.

Another orchid shot. A macro shot of an Orchid that I, so far, haven’t killed yet! Woot!!! (knock on wood lol) I can keep green plants alive for years, but anything that flowers, forget it!
